Our Philosophy

At the Top Surgery Center of Connecticut, we aim to provide a supportive environment and comprehensive care before, during and after surgery. Preoperatively, our goals are to educate you about the surgical options available to you so you can make the best decisions for your anatomy and feel as comfortable in your body as possible after surgery. Our office staff and billing team will help guide you through the steps involved in getting yourself approved for and ready for top surgery.

During your surgical experience you will be met with a team of highly experienced nurses and anesthesiologists to make you feel supported and well cared for. Postoperatively, we aim to provide you with evidence-based education about long-term scar care and how to take care of your body to optimize your long-term surgical results.

We believe in the informed consent model when it comes to readiness for top surgery. It is every patient’s right to feel comfortable in their body. The spectrum of gender identify is such that there are many “shades of grey” between binary male and binary female. Our goal is to help you align your physical characteristics with your inner sense of self and to inform you about options so you can choose the surgical approach that best represents your individual identity. Your preferences and ideas about your postoperative result are important to us and may be very different between one individual and another.
